What your rebate number means:

Your Total State Rebates amount is the sum of all the 'free money' your state will offer you through buy-downs, tax rebates, and other credits. To find out where your number comes from, and local energy programs offered in your state, visit the Database of State Incentives for Renewables and Efficiency which is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. Getting an estimate from Energy Masters will include a section detailing all your federal and state incentives.

What your installation time means:

It is the number of days you have for your system to be installed and operational and still receive the government money. This is in place so the states are funding projects that will actually be finished in a timely manor. The actual installation and testing of your system usually takes about 2-3 weeks.
